Charles L. (Chuck) Parks is a 40-year investment professional with BA and MBA degrees in Finance. Eighteen of those years were spent in New York, working with such notable firms as the Equitable Life Assurance Society (Vice President and Head Equity Trader), Morgan Stanley (Institutional Block Trader), Dean Witter Reynolds (Vice President, Institutional Capital Commitment) and New York and Foreign Securities (Head Trader).

Now with ACH Investment Group, Chuck’s focus is working with numerous individual, corporate and pension clients in seeking to develop effective balanced investment and savings programs. Approximately 25 million dollars, from more than 150 clients, is entrusted, either directly or indirectly, to his care. By carefully matching client goals and objectives with the myriad of investment products available, Chuck mitigates risk while attempting to obtain consistent overall returns.

Techniques employed by Chuck include: elements of tactical and strategic allocation and, if desired, risk management programs that may, because of extreme market risk, have client funds invested totally in money market or other short-term cash equivalent accounts.

With Chuck’s extensive contacts throughout the Wall Street community, information and other technical support is enhanced, which can potentially benefit the client base.

Tactical allocation may involve more frequent buying and selling of assets and will tend to generate higher transaction cost. Investors should consider the tax consequences of moving positions more frequently. Asset allocation does not ensure a profit or protect against a loss.
